I have the full version and it's been running now for a little over a year and I love it. I just cut my display wires and have to buy a new one. I saw Terrances take on using a tablet but I'm worried about doing updates so instead of a tablet I'll bite the bullet for a new display unless they change doing updates

I've never used the apex display I hated that thing from the start. I only control it from my devices. I almost never update though. Last update its when they made fusion available.

The cool thing is if you have been watching reef builders there are more choices coming in this area of reefing...
Vertex and Tunze are putting out these systems... So just like skimmers the prices may come down and they will get better faster

The Vertex Cerebra looks promising. I was tempted to get in on the pre order pricing, but I'm still so old school I don't trust putting all my eggs in one basket lol!

For any of you considering the Kindle as an Apex display it works very nice.
You do have to do a few updates to the device and add the Dolphin Browser for full screen functionality but once done its very nice.

Just watch the video here and its all explained very well

Yes...I got my Fire Tablet today and set it up. I like it better than the display that comes with the Apex.

I plan on getting an Apex soon and already have a Kindle. Can you post that link again?
I was looking at the Vertex also but it's a BETA version and might have some bugs that need to be worked out, I'd rather go with something that's been tried and true.
