Hey all, I tried searching this forum for some of my questions but didn’t find anything. Apologies if this is a repeat…

I’m upgrading my old JBJ AIO to a UNS R75. I’d like some advice on the following:
- skimmer that will fit
- refugium light
- how to mount my DOS on the inside of the cabinet (I’ve seen some members photos and asked but haven’t heard back yet)
- any guidance(or pictures) if dosing canisters fit in the outside dry cabinet?
- I’ll want to do a new aquascape, keeping some rocks and getting new ones. any advice on rocks? And if the LFS is the best for rocks? I dont want to have to re-cycle since I have a 5 yo established tanks with a ton of corals. (Sps and lps)

Current equipment:
Neptune apex, temp and ph probe, Trident, DOS, 3 versa pumps, ecotech vectors return S2, 2 MP 10’s, radion g6 xr30, small calcium reactor.

Thanks so much everyone. I’m really excited for this upgrade. It’s the biggest I can get so I’m super stoked.

Also, photo of my current can’t for reference.

I have the same setup, I’ll add what info I can for you -

skimmer that will fit - I went with the Deltec 400i, but needed to order a stand so I could get the sweet spot water level.

- refugium light - UNS sell a refugium light on Buceplant that I will be going with

- how to mount my DOS on the inside of the cabinet (I’ve seen some members photos and asked but haven’t heard back yet) - The cabinet for the electronics is a nice size. I use Hydros but I have the XP8, X3 and Blenny with plenty of available room.

- any guidance(or pictures) if dosing canisters fit in the outside dry cabinet? - This will be better decided after you mount the equipment (Apex etc) I had room at the bottom and I’ve seen some people mount on the inside of the sump area

- I’ll want to do a new aquascape, keeping some rocks and getting new ones. any advice on rocks? And if the LFS is the best for rocks? I dont want to have to re-cycle since I have a 5 yo established tanks with a ton of corals. (Sps and lps) - I went with Eden rocks and a couple pieces from an established tank. I would order TBS rock if you additional rock, but I doubt you would have a cycle if you’re transferring everything over.

I use the S2 and you’ll need to go from 3/4” to 1” for the return line

I went with 2 MP40s as the glass thickness is listed as MP10 max and didn’t want the headache of them falling down, but don’t have experience with the MP10s on this tank, so can’t say for sure

Heres some info I received from UNS when deciding on a tank -

Roller Mat -
Reefmat 250 with adapter
Reef Factory with adapter

Skimmer
Reef Octo 110s
Curve 5/Curve 5 Elite
Nyos 120

Return
Synchra 6.0

This is great! Thank you so much.
I should've clarified for the DOS- i was thinking of hanging in on the inside of the cabinet, on top of the sump.

Did you end up going with a reefmat 250? I'm considering it.

Also, intersting about the MP40's. I really hope my MP10's will be good!

Anytime!

I didn’t go with the Reefmat. Probably a person issue tbh.

I had everything setup, but after thinking about it, and other experiences I’ve had, my thinking is that I’ve been making my tanks too clean. So I’m going to run without and see how that goes.

Im thinking the same. I like how clean it looks.

For the R75…I have the Octo 110s and it fits very nicely.
