Hi, everybody! I'm Pamela and I've lived in Oklahoma for nearly 11 years now, although I'm a northern girl at heart, having grown up in Michigan & Indiana. My husband and I are both US Army veterans and we have 5 children. Our oldest lives about 1-1/2 hours from home, our second is in the Army Band, serving in South Carolina, our third is preparing to graduate high school and leave on a 2-year mission, our fourth is finishing up her junior year of high school, and our little caboose is just about through Kindergarten. I'm a stay-home mama and I co-teach Sunday School to 6-8 year-olds with my sweetheart. My favorite things are being with my family, making holidays (real & made-up) special, knitting dolly dresses, and enjoying my aquariums. I've kept a freshwater tank for over 14 years now. Saltwater aquaria is a whole new adventure for me! I've recently moved my freshwater babies to a 120-gallon aquarium, and that freed up my 55-gallon for this new chapter. Very happy to be here!

You're welcome, rantipole, and thanks for the welcome. It's nice to know there are enthusiasts both seasoned and new, and likely everywhere up the middle.

Welcome and thank you for your service!!
Thanks and you're welcome, revhtree! So excited to be here and to begin this new journey. I pretty much learned freshwater aquaria through lots of trial and error. Thrilled to have the benefit of meeting saltwater peeps and reading your advice BEFORE jumping in with reckless abandon -- "Ooooh, they're all so pretty! I'll take that one, and that one, and that one."

Welcome, can't thank you and your family enough for serving our country. 55 gal is a good start. Looking forward to the build.
