Hey everyone! I've always been a huge aquarium enthusiast but have only had experiences with your typically 5 gallon tank etc. I've wanted a bigger aquarium for sometime now that I could put in my living room for everyone to enjoy.

I just recently got a 55 gallon aquarium with a great custom made stand off Craigslist, and it came with several pieces of equipment. I have no idea what they are and the guy wasn't too helpful whom I bought them off of. Is there any chance that I could post pictures of the equipment, and get some step by step advice on what it is and how I need to set it up in this tank? I really appreciate any and all help. I want to make this happen rather than just look at an empty aquarium that I wasted money on.

Welcome to R2R!
Pictures is what we need :-)

Thanks guys! Two things of note....mine is going to be a freshwater set up. I know this is a salt water forum but I wanted to ask on here because it seems like the board gets a lot of activity, the posters respond quickly and they're fairly nice about it. I definitely want to do this correctly though. I know I don't have the full set up, but a run down of what I do have, and what else I need would be excellent.

I'm stuck at work now but when I get home I will get those pics up ASAP.
