Hi everyone,

I spend the last weeks/months setting up my first 55g saltwater tank (FOWLR) and have found many helpful topics in this forum.

After the weeks of lurking and reading, I thought it was about time to say hi and register :).

Cheers,
Hoembi
Welcome hoembi,
What are your tank inhabitants?
There are many cool fish I'd like to keep that are not reef safe.
Good argument for another tank!

At the moment I have a a few Scarlet Hermit crabs, three nessarius snails and 3 Mexican Turbo snails.

Just today I added three Kupang damsels, which at the moment are doing their best in hiding behind the rocks and behind all the decoration.

I am wondering though how to feed them if they stay in hiding for a few days (as it seems to be normal for the damsels).

Defrost a mysis or carnivore cube, dilute with an ounce of water, suck some up in a turkey baster or syringe. Squirte near damsel hidey hole with water circulation off.

Thanks, will try this method for the next feed. Now I just gotta find the third one (he has managed to hide very well and I still have to find his hiding spot :D ).
