Newbie to reefing! Need tips

Hello all
I am from NC and starting up a reef tank and would like some good advice. I would like to do this as best as possible. At the moment I'm stuck on trying to figure out my plumbing. There are alot of good videos but I cant see to find one that applies to me. Any suggestions??
