Hi al new to the site and embarrassed to say I have had a 90 gallon salt/reef tank for a while and this is my first group, but I do need help with some questions regarding my corals, one during well the others not grown since placement 6 months but still alive? One more the local pet shop a tested everything and all is perfect except ?is at 12-13 so they suggested a water change and add buffer?? But reading R2r forums and it’s conflicting thank you all and the great welcome

Nice start with tank.
Do Not add buffer and you have some cyano and hair algae to battle.
I assume you are using tap water ?
Also is your tank getting a little sunlight during the day?
I notice a couple of snails in the pic. .. add 3 of each : Turbo, astrea, trochus and Nerite snails who will get some of this cleaned up for you.
OTHERWISE AGAIN - OFF TO A NICE START.
