I have a biocube and want to add the KH and ION. My system is pretty much automated right now. I just did it with Kasa WiFi stripes and not a controller. My first issue is that the tanks on top of a stand and I was wondering if it can draw the water with the tank being like two feet above it without an auto siphon Issue?

In thoery a dosing pump should not syphon water however as a failsafe do you have an option of mounting the hose just below the surface (so if it did syphon, it would break without empting to much water)? Of course with an ATO this would be much harder to achieve.

I have an ATO so it’s always one level. I’m saying doesn’t the unit pull water from the tank to the unit to test it? Once it did that...wouldn’t it create a siphon since it’s lower?

In theory the rollers pinch the line. If liquid were able to flow, you would need to prime the lines every time.

Of course as it wears this *may* become an issue.
