Hi Everyone! I’m Sammy from California. I grew up around large salt and freshwater fish tanks. Recently I decided to get a 35 gallon saltwater tank with some fish and coral in memory of my stepdad who passed away. It was his passion and is the reason I love them so much today.

I’m super excited to be hopping into this forum and can’t wait to be apart of the community. :)

Welcome to your new home for saltwater reef aquarium resources and fun! Welcome to the family! :D

Welcome to Reef2Reef! What an honor to get a saltwater tank in light of your stepdad's passing! What are you planning on doing with the 35g tank?

Thank you so much!
I let it water cycle for a while and then added a couple black ice clownfish, watchman goby, six striped wrasse, and a handful of corals. I’ve definitely run into some speed bumps with things like my pump being too cheap and failing (wow was that scary). But so far they all seem to be stoked on thier new home. All eating well which has been awesome to see. :star-struck:
