added a squamosa clam today from PEA hows it look so far? my foxface is picking algae off its shell and it recedes back a little into its shell when he does it is that gonna be an issue?

Beautiful! It'll be just fine! Extension looks alright! The foxface is just giving it a little love taps - I wouldn't worry.

A little tip for the long haul - you can test a clam by hovering your hand over it which would quickly block out the light. Assuming the clam is in good health - it will quickly, ever so slightly retract. This shows good awareness!
