Today I woke up just before my lights turn on in my new reef. I'm currently doing a cycle with 2 clownfish, one at 5cm and one at 2,5cm. With the Evo 13.5, and a jecod dc pump, Eheim heater. The last week since I put salt water in it, I've been using seachem stability. To help with the cycle.
I bought my 2 fish off masterfisch, when I got them 24 hours after I made a quick safety stop (with the rapid fish QT). Would have done a qt if I had a qt tank, which I regret now.
Substrate: Fiji pink
Rock: AF rock
My oldest clownfish just died overnight, (on the sand under the rocks). They have been having some white spots or white dust on them for a few days now. The little one looks like it won't make it till the end of tonight, it's breathing very quick and looks sick. Not sure what I could do to save it. And for sure do to make the tank ready again for a new pair?
My temperature is 25 Celcius, salinity 1.025-1.026, ammonia was 0.05ppm the last 3 days now it's 0.02ppm. I have a KH tester, and a phosphate tester aswell.
Could be ich, marine velvet or something?
Thank you, for your help.
