Hope everyone has a great Christmas. My present to my Clownfish is 6 feet more room going from a 20g to a 250g xD. Think they will like it? lol

Added this and some turbo start 900. This was my “cycle” setup last time, and once my tank is fully heated I will be putting my clowns over from their holding tank!

Haven’t seen too many of the pods, but my clowns are in with the Turbo Start 900 and they seem to be doing well. My heaters are a 300w and a 250w and I’m thinking I might need to pickup a 450 or 500 to switch with the 250. The tank is around 74.3 so it’s on it’s way to the 78 I want but not there yet. Also, if anyone is considering BF5 it’s tons of fun!

Still deciding on how to mount my Radions. Can’t figure out the best way, but I think my only option is the multiple RMS mount because I’m not interested in hanging and the single RMS won’t work in the middle with my overflow box. Hmmmm

Well got some major updates in the works here!

Got my first xr30w hung and looking great! Was a challenge as you might be able to see behind the mount as I wanted to try to DIY on a mount but had TONS of complication. Oh well, the mount looks great and feels very sturdy as well.

Also, today i went to a local frag swap and got some coral. Since the tank has been running for over a month, I think it’s time to spice things up! Here is one of the corals open after just a few short hours being in the tank!

Corals are looking good. Later today i will get pictures of the other coral. I am even attempting to revive my dads long tentacle plate, hoping its gonna live!

Worked perfect in my opinion. But on these big tanks I don’t think you need to use their recommended amount. I just used the small one and everything went fine
