Nicrew Amazon led light advice

Out of all the Chinese black boxes, I would use Noo-pschye lights, but I have also heard good things about Nicrew.

I use a 100 watt nicrew that I'm happy with, working fine for 2 years so far

check out fishofhex on youtube, he did a good review of these that spans multiple months. Compares them to the kessil ap700.

They are a good light. I great option if you dont need a controller or dim up/down. If you want controllable in a similar form factor, check fb and the forums here for used kessil ap700 or ap9x.

I have 2 of the 100w lights on my 120g tank. It's a low light tank with acans, euphylia, goni, and chalices. I will not complain one bit about them.

What size tank you have. I was curious because I have the 100 watt on a 75G
I have the 100 watts on a 32 gallon. IMO your light should work for a lot of corals, but if you want higher light corals you might want a second 100 watt pendant.

Thanks man. I was thinking that as well. When I get acropora I’ll get a second one.

I have 4 of the Nicrew navareef 135 on my 150 5x2x2 I have the light about 9 inches above the tank and I can grow sod in the sand if I wanted to . With the factory AB+ on the controller I was getting par of 211 on the sand .

I have two gen1 150s (the three puc one) over a 120gl along with two Orphek blue+ bars. I grow everything and absolutely love my nicrews!

I have two 50w Nicrew lights, each one with the controller attachment which is unfortunately a separate purchase, but well worth it. It offers pretty good control of whites and blues, just not like a full spectrum. One 50w I've had running for 5 years now, the other is going on 2 years. Definitely a good option IMO.
