Niger not eating

I added this Niger trigger 24 hours ago. He immediately went under this rock and has not moved since. I have tried Mysis shrimp 3 times right in front of him. He never moved a muscle. I’m worried he’s going to starve. White light only on for the picture even though it’s hard to see him. I have kept room light off and tank light very dark blue. Any tips on getting him to take a bite or come out??

He will be okay, give him some time. Offer some bigger chunks of meaty foods on a feeding stick and garlic also makes the food smell good to them

I know it’s not in the same vein, but my blue throat when introduced, hid in the rocks for 4 days and didn’t eat for just as long.

now he is a PIG. Don’t worry about it too much
