It would eventually outgrow your tank but you could keep one for a few months than rehome it to someone bigger.

no this is not a joke. Many sources say they can live in 75 gallons, and 65 gallons are only 3 inches shorter, so i thought it might be ok.

oh. Lots of people do lots of things. That doesn’t validate the behavior.

Those fish get 1’ long. I don’t think it will be alive very long in your tank but if you can get it to maturity it will be easy to catch ;)
