Like i said there are other options but I can say it definitely grows lps and soft corals. But I think there are much better light options there aren't many better programming options under $200. Also the 29 gallon is a little deeper tank. I think it would work really well on a 20gallon long. I will eventually upgrade it to an AI prime 16HD or a kessil aA360 probably next. The light was given to me so I figured no reason to spend $200. It was new though. So not used.
Oh gotcha both of those lights are very nice!

I would not use those nicrew lights if I were you. Yes they can work for a couple months to a year but i doubt they can sustain anything but the lowest of low light corals. Better off going with 1 orphek or3 bar for better par and right spectrum for corals on a budget, kessils and aqua illumination are really nice as well

I just think you probably cant beat those orpheks to add even 80-100 par with just 1 light. The results shown by some members are crazy

definitely stay away from those cheap chinese made leds if you have the budget to do so, not worth them having an electrical fire

i think the Dsuny is one of the cheap chinese models fyi
Oh wow really haven't read anyone have an electrical fire that's crazy, but now I'm sad because I really liked the price, par, and mounting option for the DsunY.

sigh i have to say i do too but i do not recommend them if you are not around the tank all the time or have a par meter because they beam light into the tank

They have radion power on a budget. But if someone wanted a black box and don't want to spend $800 thats what I would say lol
