Great event. Saw Andrew Sandler (no selfies; not my style :) ) and gave him a quick "your reef is awesome" but wish I had more time to listen to some of the speakers... Went on a last minute whim with a friend. Next year I'm going to plan it a bit better.

After so much time doing nothing, dosing a little iron seems to have awoken my chaeto. Contemplating my first harvest before my shroom gets crowed out

Yeah. It's clear now that I need more. Waiting to get paid at the new job first in a few weeks though. Figure the coral can sort of acclimate to my water til then..

Refreshed my cleanup crew:

2 BIG Mexican turbos
5 trochus
2 nassarius (not vibex)

Getting a few 'tufts' of GH aleage popping up. Quitting the FUEL dosing as I'm anectodally blaming it for this new algae. Hoping the big turbos mow it down for me

The big turbos are doing thier job nicely. They finally found the big spot of algae and are going to town on it.

Going.. Going... Hopefully gone by tomorrow :)

Added a yellow coris Wrasse a bit ago. Hid for a few days but has been out n about since. Great color and hopefully a little pest control also

...gone. Was there all day until just a few minutes ago was finished off.

Now ready for more lights and corals :)

Lol I feel like I'm slow at the uptake at times but it sort of suits this hobby I suppose... Slow and steady progression. Thank you for the compliment!
