No RODI FIlter temp options ?

I've moved in with my partner, and currently do not have a rodi filter in the apartment which has been a big pita
I wonder have people successfully ran their tanks somehow without owning a filtration systems and how did you get around that

Tap water works in some cases, and store bought distilled is a decent short term plan.

Indeed I have used distilled water from what I have read no issues so far for me besides carrying the jugs :(
