Hello everyone! I have an older jbj 28g nanocube that I am going to make some upgrades on, first being removing the hood and getting a new light. After a lot of research I think noopsyche is the way to go but I can't decide which is preferable. The actual dimensions (excluding the back filter area and light hood) of the tank are 17.25Lx16Wx15.5H and I currently only have a few lps but would like the option to have sps. From what I have read I think the mini might cover it but I have some concerns with being able to mount the mini on an older rimmed tank as well as some noise and spillage issues that I have seen others having. But it is obviously much cheaper and the pro could just end up being overkill. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone with experience mounting a mini on an older rimmed aquarium? Also how would the mini do with clams? I have no immediate plans for one but could see considering a crocea in a couple years.
