I have had high nitrates (70-100 ppm) and high phosphate (0.2 ppm) for a few years and have been dosing NoPOx for about 6 weeks. Tank and sump are about 140 gallons. I started dosing small amounts (3 mL a day) and have gradually increased dosing to 18 mL a day. A few weeks ago nitrates were about 40 ppm and phosphates were 0 ppm so I started dosing NeoPhos to keep phosphate about 0.2 ppm. I'm dosing the complete dose all at once around 3 pm during the peak light where the corals should be producing the maximal amount of oxygen to avoid hypoxic levels. Nitrate has dropped to about 30 ppm but has stalled there for 3-4 days. Any suggestions?
