You can pick it up at an Asian super market if there are any locally.

Have you checked to see if there are any Asian markets around you? You should be able to get nori there.

Asian markets are a wonderful source for things like nori and other dried seaweeds. Make sure that the nori you find doesn't have sesame seed oil listed a an ingredient as some noris are "seasoned" with the oil.

My fish used to devour the seaweed that came from Kroger, and then I started buying the Ocean Nutrition and Sea Veggies and now they won't touch the Kroger stuff, haha.

Mine don't seem to like the "colored" seaweed either, just the green. I've tried both the Red and Purple to no avail. I'll be heading to Asian market to get it soon as I remember my fish used to like that stuff as well.

Check out the post Mike&Terry put about cutting nori into stripes when feeding, it really helps cut down on the amount of waste floating around the tank.

thats what i use. unseasoned, plain nori from the supermarket. it's cheap and my tangs (and other guys eat some too) love it. Colors on the fish are vibrant with either pet store nori or supermarket nori. Mike and Terry's technique of cutting strips on the nori sheet works awesome too.

NP. what i do is (depends how much nori eaters you have in your tank) take about a 5" x 2" piece of nori, fold in half longways, then take a scissor and cut slits about 1 inch deep in the long side of the nori. then i put the side that's not cut under the edge of my magfloat. less nori pieces floating around since when they pick they eat only the cut pieces that come off easily.
