Normal Toadstool Shedding?

I got a toadstool about 4 days ago and on the first day in my tank it was doing well then afterwards it had a waxy mucus on it. People have told me it's shedding but I don't like how those white patches look. My parameters are all go

Boy shedding I have seen but normally not much for white patches. I usually see it just looks angry for a few days and comes back to life. Maybe lower lights for a few days?

Ok, so should I dim the lights or make the lights stay on for less time?
