I have a grill but had not planned to grill. If we will need the extra food I will be glad to fire the grill up but I don't think I will have time to man it. Would you be willing to man the grill?

I have a head of frogspawn that has been fragged for over a month and one of duncan that I cut about 2 or 3 weeks ago. My tank is still in the growing phase so I don't have a lot to frag.

I have a long narrow back porch and two garages. We can stay dry so don't let a little rain keep you from coming.

Plus I will probably be willing to let some of you into the house lol

Well sorry to say but I will not be able to make the meeting, but hopefully I will be able to make the next one and do the demo on algae scrubbers.

We r going to miss everyone

You can just have a meeting really soon and it will be like you didn't miss anything :)

I personally think that it would be cool if we met more often that the club has since I moved here. Maybe every two or three months at the least.

Dr. McQueen will be joining us. He currently teaches at Heritage Elementary school and has a reef tank in his classroom. He used to work with children with emotional issues. He told me that keeping reef/marine tanks in classrooms had been a great help with these children and in getting children engaged in science. Some of you may know him from CRS days since he used to visit there often. He is looking for some easy corals for children to work with. A donation of soft corals will be greatly appreciated since he is working with practically no budget. I hope some of you can help.

Just as an aside, Dr. McQueen coached my son in baseball 8 or so years ago. He is a great and patient guy. Your donations would be put to good use.

Looking forward to meeting Dr McQueen.

He may not want them but I have some small pieces of GSP and some common mushrooms that I could offer up. Could someone bring a scalpal? I haven't purchased one yet.

In an email, two of my non-tank owning friends were teasing me about having club meetings two weekends in a row. It made me chuckle so I thought I would share.

Gay:
All I know is that she wont play with me any longer, due to her aquarium club.
Bev--

P.S. She even has Richard going (I think its a CULT shhhh)

I replied:
Yes, we all stand on the corner outside the LFS (local fish store) and sell xenia (the reef equivalent of daisies) for $5. How did you know?

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
