Post your nostalgic reefing equipment you stall have or still use.
I have been looking for this old Tunze skimmer for sometime now
I ran one years ago.
I was somehow lucky enough to find one NIB.
Not sure what im going to do with it as I did not expect to find a new one.
Lets see what you got!

I had some remoras from back in the day,,, and man some of the old skimmer bio wheel combos I used to have would have been cool to post but did huge purge last year so other than some old halide setups out in the shed, I dont have any old equip pics to share. Very cool that you have that though.

I just fired up halides again after saying I would never go back, lol.
Wish I would have held onto some of my old fixtures.
I am looking for these if anyone comes across them.
Mine is 16" and I would love to find some 20" or more 16's.
I run 400 watt bulbs.

Ive been on the fence about adding a halides back to the tank again also. Ever since I did the purge and found the old setups in the shed. There I want to say AOL ballast 3 250s screwed to a board. Thats what I had back in the day on my 120 also found a new icecap ballast out there for VHOs :)

I still use my Aqua C Remora skimmer from 2002

I traded the MaxiJet 1200 for a Sicce 1.5

The rubber O Ring that adjusts the height of the skimmer cup just broke this year. I’m using a rubber band now.

I've still got an old E.T.S.S. 400 skimmer in a box in my garage. It's hard to tune in, but rocks when everything is as it should be. I also have an 8x57W (I think) TEK T-5 lighting array. With extra bulbs!

Great topic!

I still have most of the equipment from the tanks below that's from around 2007 - 2009. And recently went through all of it to make sure it still works, cleaned, and organized it.

I still have some diatom filters probably from the 60s.

This HOB "thing" I made into the manifold for my reverse undergravel filter.

This still runs. It is probably from the 80s. I don't remember

My Log book from 1971

My temperature gauge is from the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan circa 1907 😆

I still use it.

I remember diatom filters. I also made a 6' pvc air driven skimmer. System was plumbed through the wall into the garage.

I just posted this yesterday. The new 1200g system I will be building over the next 90ish days will have some similarities to my 550g system (yes, I’m a glutton for punishment and will maintain both systems). For example - it absolutely will have halides.

Halides! I stopped using them and am now back with a 400 watt 112 system.
Started late 80's with a single 175 watt pendant over my 55.
Looking for fixtures.
I have:
Reefbright
Lumenbright
Lumen max
Various grow reflectors
Im keeping a stock of 400 watt supplies now so I can run them until I dont run anymore, lol.
May convert 150 one day or?
8 digital ballasts
2 M59 Magnetic
2 M135 Magnetic
I have 50 total bulbs
7200K are for green grows
5-7200K
10-10K
10-12.5K
5-14K
20-20K
