Recently I’ve been having some ph troubles. My ph is monitored by my apex el. My ph probe used to read 7.9 ph and my salifert test 8.3 so I calibrated the ph probe. After the calibration I noticed that my ph goes on an increase to a max of 8.7 ph around 5:00pm. I tested to make sure and the ph shows to be othe chart on the salifert test. (8.6+)

In the image it looks like the ph increases from Jul 12 to today (Jul 17) also some drops too.

My other parameters:

Salinity: 1.026sg
Ph: 8.7 ph
Nitrate: .02ppm
Phosphate: .17ppm
Calcium: 410ppm
Alkalinity: 9.6
Magnesium: 1050ppm

All corals seem happy and open (mostly Sps)
Any suggestions on what to do about the high ph

Did you do anything different lately, opened a window etc, also magnesium is low might want to raise it to at least 1275 or higher.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
