I have not personally ordered fish or coral from these sites, theses sites are just ones that the people on the forums have used and suggested. If you want to know just look them up and compare prices.

The cheapest way to get fish is buying from Petco and Quaratining it yourself imo. I just got a cleaner shrimp from them for $20. I’m sorry for your predicament ..Good Luck though. :(

Petco usually has the basic marine fish like clowns or designer clowns, royal grammas/dottybacks, damselfish and shrimp.

I’m sure that’s what the scam is. WOW, that’s a great price…then after a a few emails, there’s nothing. But posting it all here tells everyone else not to go there. Places like this might even change the name monthly to hide.

The least expensive way to buy fish will probably be a good LFS. You won't pay shipping and have much less shipping stress, you can observe the fish, watch it eat, and keep an eye on it for a few days before you put down any money.

Try to learn the lesson of you really do get what you pay for. AND, if a deal sounds too good to be true, IT IS!

It really depends on the store but for my local Petco I was able to ask them to order what fish I wanted. For example I asked if they any chromis or copperbands. And they would order it for me and it would ship next week and be available for me to purchase.

Sorry to break it to you but you ain't getting no fish. This is a complete scam and if it is not it is complety un proffesional to communicate (or lack of) as she has been doing nonetheless through text.

You say you are a minor I would share this with your parents and they will prob have good advice for you.

Dude that's not the way a seller should conduct business. Whether or not he's preparing the fish for you, I'd just play it safe and get the money back while you can. Leave a bad review while you're at it to warn others about your experience too. This shouldn't be how respected individuals in the community treat their clients' hard earned money. Sorry you had to go through that, and best of luck scouting for your next purchase!

Jayden I'm glad you filed a claim as that was clearly not right. From my personal experience I have ordered multiple times from ReefBeauties. Their prices are competitive and the best part is their 15 Day Guarantee (no joke)

I had a wrasse die roughly a week after having it and they issued a full credit as long as I had a photo of the specimen. They get back to messages quickly (not on the weekends which website states). I've been in contact with them about specimens they don't have currently and are working to get them in. They have been great!

The fish always arrive in good shape and all of mine (except the one that died) have eaten the same day of arrival.

They also update their inventory twice a week, and offer next day shipping.

TCK has a good auction section but lately I have had bad luck with them.
