I am NOT a reef tank owner. I have a semi elaborate turtle (northern false map turtle) set up. I am trying to re-use the reef-pi system for Copernicus (turtle's name). If this is not the correct forum to have this discussion, please direct to a better place.
I appreciate honest guidance.

A lot of people use the welcome forum you posted in here on Reef2Reef to just greet newcomers (sometimes without reading the posts) - so, to get help with your question, I'd suggest posting a new thread about it with specifics in the sub-forum below:
If you don't get enough input there after a bump or two, then posting in the DIY forum may get it some more attention:
