Yeah the width of the polyps are only between 1-2mm wide. If compared to a pencil the diameter of the lead is a little smaller than the size of most polyps from peak to peak. The length just depends on how many polyps are joined. Only around 1.5 inches of the frag is shown.

Try Coscinaraea columna. Maybe look at Leptoseris and similar, too.

Wow those polyps must be tiny. Amazing what a Macro shot can make it look like a giant.
