Ok. Let me give some brief history. I bought a brand new 60 gallon saltwater system on the 12th of March. Set it up the same day using live sand (still wet from the ocean). I didn't plan on having a reef set-up so I have a flourescent light that I leave off during the day and turn on at night. I also have an Aqua Clear 110 power filter, a Fluval M200 Submersible Heater (set at 78 degrees F) and a Hydor Koralia Circulation Pump with a flow rate of 750gph. Everything has been up and running since the 12th. I went back to the pet shop the following day and bought some rocks and dead coral out of the dry bins, brought them home and put them in the tank. If you notice in the first picture, this is the same rock 24 hours before the following photos were taken. What is this that's "growing" on this rock now? It's only on the yellow portions of the rock, none of the other rocks/coral I bought seem to have this issue! Is this growing organism good or bad for my tank? Should I remove this rock or is this some kind of life form that is coming back to life? I'm unsure of what to do or what this is...Any ideas??? Please help...Thanks!

Looks like a sponge. Don't do anything.

I've attached some closer and clearer pictures. If this is some sort of sponge does anyone know what type of sponge? If it is a sponge am I going to have different lighting for it...the LED lighting?? Please view the pictures and let me know. Thanks.
