Was curious about using this on the inside of a dry tank. I know they say not to use it on the inside of the tank while in use but I was wondering if I would be able to use it if the tank is not currently filled? Would I be able to clean it afterwards without potential risk to future livestock? Thanks in advance

I used it with my old frag tank that was really hazy when i bought it used. It did a fantastic job. Rinsed it afterward. No issues with livestock when i filled it.

good to know. When you rinsed it did you just use water or did you use some kind of mixture? Also, did you fill the tank completely or literally just rinse and then towel it off? I've seen people say they let the tank run for 24-48 hours and then drain it and let air dry. I really don't want to do all that but if I need to obviously I will.

After finishing with the Novus, I buffed it shiny with a soft towel. I just took it outside and hosed it out, wiped it out, hosed again and drained off what I could.

when you used it were you 100% haze free? I started with 2000 grit sandpaper and did a 5 step process up to 5000 then went novus 3,2,1 and I have a little bit of a haze if you look at it from the right angle. I tested the novus without the sandpaper in a spot on top and it turned out perfect.

Editing this for anybody in the future who may be struggling their first time like I was/am. I went over it again with the novus 3,2,1 and it's as good as new.
