NP Biopellets question

i just set this all up tonight, and wonder, how much should they be tumbling in the media reactor? I mean, the top is moving around, but the sides and bottom are still. I am using a MJ400, but also have a MJ1200 I could use and throttle down with a valve, want to be sure I do this right. Any advice please.
