Hes tiny! about 1.25 inches.
Ive got an ok amount of tiger pods but I mostly have munnid isopods in my tank, Like an absurd amount (part of the reason I ordered a mandarin.) But Im worried they may be too large for his mouth.

I saw two Mandarins for sale just last week that couldn't have been more than 1" long. They were no doubt captive bred. The price was (an unbelievable) $98 each! For that price, I hope they were eating frozen fish eggs, frozen newly hatched artemia, and frozen cyclops! Do you know the origin of your Mandarin? I neglected to ask when I saw the two near me...

Drs. Foster and Smith have Nutramar Ova available, but shipping will probably be exorbitant:
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18988
Marine Depot is out, but the site says they will ship in 1 to 2 weeks.

You might consider Omega One Frozen Oyster Eggs:
https://premiumaquatics.com/products/omega-frozen-oyster-eggs-175-oz-cubes.html
Again, shipping may be exorbitant.

And then there's Rod's Food Fish Eggs Frozen Fish Food:

Yet again, shipping may be exorbitant. I can't find the species of fish that these eggs come from, and because they are orange colored, I suspect they are dyed re-packaged capelin roe. Capelin roe is readily available from Asian Food Markets. They are used garnish Sushi Rolls. I guess they're dyed so you can see them. I just bought a one pound frozen block of them locally for $10. (I think that if the dye is OK for humans, that is is also OK for our fish.)

If you prefer capelin roe that has not been dyed, there's San Francisco Bay Brand Fish Eggs:

I've purchased mine at a LFS, but I can't seem to find it from online vendo

Drs. Foster and Smith says they are on back order if you read the fine print.

Yeah and marine Depot has said available in one to weeks for 2 months
I remember when everybody was out for years both sites just kept backing up the date. I meant to order some when it became available again but never got a round to it. Now it may be a few more years, or a month who knows.
