@SavAqua20 how is the IM meadi reactor treating you? Thinking about picking up up for my nuvo 20

It works great when I need it. I usually run a little rowaphos in it if phosphates get out of wack. Thankfully I don’t have to very often. It does the job.

No I just leave it in. It’s removed periodically for cleaning.

Thank you! I feed a mix of Reef Nutrition TDO, Larry’s reef frenzy, and reef roids. I also dose Brightwell aminos daily.

Well I guess it’s been a minute. I put my down payment in with Reef Savvy but still waiting on more communication for my tank to be built. I know a lot went down during the time of Covid when I ordered. Hopefully I can hammer the details out with them so I can get my tank. In the meantime I’ve restarted a Nuvo 20 gallon and look forward to having a reef again. The last couple weeks I dusted off my equipment and started putting the tank together. My idea for this tank is to mainly do Acropora. My previous tank has such fast growth of the zoas on the main rock. I don’t want to make that mistake again. I still will likely add some but just to their own island. The light I picked for this tank is a Reef Breeders Meridian 11 with the Edge bar. It should arrive tomorrow. I also went with a new Tunze nano ATO and installed that today. Most everything else is from my previous build. Feels great to be back in the game.

Just setup the new Reef Breeders Meridian 11. I ordered the 12” edge bar also but I think it’s too big to run on this Nuvo 20.
