I'm going to NYC soon and will be hunting acros, what stores do I need to check out?

Unique Corals and Manhattan Aquarium have an affiliation, might be same owner. To my knowledge, it's the only store worth visiting in Manhattan (it's a short walk from Hudson Yards 7 station), you have a few more choices in Queens & Brooklyn.

Depends how far and in what direction you're headed. House of Fins in CT is one of the best stores in the region. Absolutely Fish in Clifton, NJ is also worth a trip.

+1 for Advanced Marine Aquatics, 10 minutes from my work and very good shop. If you come out this way for Advanced you can also go to Aquarium Village in Westbury and Pets Warehouse in Carle Place, both shops within twenty minutes of Advanced. Pets Warehouse is a local chain sort of like Petco with a few locations on Long Island, they have a nice Marine section, at least the Carle Place location does, I don't know about the others. Those shops are close to one another, there are more shops I could list but they are further away.

MY reef aquatic in flushing great prices on fish corals alittle expensive. If you can get to the Bronx the reefshoppe is the place , best prices going, got 2 3 inch tenuis colonies for 30 bucks a piece !!

NY Reef Aquatic is by far one of the best stores in NY. They always have lots of aussie acros and frags in stock. Reasonably priced and all their livestock is well taken care of.
