I received a Nyos floating fish trap as a gift. Seemed like an excellent idea.
Is anyone successfully using one of these? I've tried it multiple times and at most 1 of 12 fish has entered it to eat the food. I've left it in the tank for a week so they could get used to it. I pull my auto feeder so the fish don't eat all day and still on most attempts nothing ventures in to get the food. I also place it down low right next to the rock work.

I unfortunately cannot attest to any luck with this device. The theory is fantastic, but practically I had no success.

I have used the tank matez version. Worked once right away and did not the second time.

I have used it and have gotten it to work by just feeding inside the trap. There are much better options though.
