Hello all,
I could use some help with my tank if possible. Tank is Nyos opus 300 dimensions are L x W x H 35,4 x 21,7 x 20,9. My equipment is as follows:
2x radion xr15 blue g5 on radion mounts
3x vortech mp 10
1x vectra s2
1x clarisea sk3000
1x nyos skimmer 120
For lighting I run ab+ at 70% intensity.
I also run uv 24/7
Water parameters are:
Po4...0.08
No3...2.6
Dkh...6.9
Mag...1320
Cal....420
Salinity... 1.024-1025
For salt I'm using TM pro reef.
I dose korallenzucht amino and coral vitalizer, both every 2 days ( as instructed).
Tank is one year old.
So with all that said I have problems with my acros. Green slimer has almost bleached same strawberry shortcake. I also have bali tricolor witch is growing fine, a bit slow but colors are there and polips are out so does milka. Montiporas are also growing, slow but steady. One sps has turn brown a while ago but it's getting green color back ( tho it looks the same for 3 months now without any change). Space invader chalice is not growing at all, it has that vibrant color but it's not going anywhere.
Basically corals are not looking so great. I could use some advice what to do to because I'm lost here.
Any suggestions is appreciated.
Tnx

send out an ICP test to find out if you’re low on trace elements or if you’re high on metals/pollutants.

How are you testing salinity? Refractometer? Hanna salinity checker? If Hanna, use another method such as a refractometer to double check. My Hanna was way off even with multiple calibrations.

If using a refractometer, ensure that it is properly calibrated.
