Has anyone used ocean direct sand and what are your thoughts? I used it in my nano and noticed that any sand movement clouds the area pretty quickly. Any fixes for this or is it just part of having this sand

It must be pre rinsed in tap to avoid that

No it doesn't harm bac

If you have a small tank, take it apart, rinse, put back clear

I rinsed all of my Ocean's Direct sand before adding it to my tank...it was really dusty right out of the bag.

Here is that exact Sand, but post rinse. No cloud with any level of disturbance. All my corals and rock are on the counter next to it about to go back in. Final rinse is saltwater to evacuate the tap. You can redo your tank easily w cloudless sand via full complete pre rinse just redo it.

When I started my tank I ran a HOB filter with a filter pad and some pillow floss stuff so it would filter out anything fine.
