Just because this is the one and only photo I’ve taken of a clam.

Where did you get that clam? I’m curious if you got it locally.

That was a picture from my previous tank, so most likely I bought it from a shop in San Antonio that no longer exists

Always wanted a tridacna noae. Nice pic.

Thanks. Really just a snap shot with the phone as a reply to the big clam thread. I know it doesn't stand a chance here, but figured I'd throw it up anyway...lol.

Amazing Photo's. I can't compete.
Beautiful Creatures. I MISS my CLAM.

Not the best photo since this goes back to my Old Cheap Camera days....

This clam I grew from a 3" baby to about 12" before it got ZAPPED.

Was the Centerpiece of my Tank.

Was killed almost instantly in one day. Copper Contamination.
Wiped out whole tank of Inverts, and Most corals.
Fish stayed healthy with the Copper Bath.

Copper came from Carbon. Recalled a week later by Big Manufacturer.
I kept trying to clear up whatever was causing the contamination. USING more of the Carbon.
The copper got into the carbon from a Mine In Africa where they mined their Coal. They hit a Copper Vein and didn't know, since quality control never pick it up.

Company compensated me for everything. So I still use their products these days. (they improved their Quality Control)

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
