My area is starting to have some power outages. I live in an apartment, so a generator isn’t really and option for me.

Should I do the October Varios + Icecap battery or Ecotech Mp10 + battery in case of an outage? I was thinking the Varios because surface agitation + water turnover is probably more important than just flow, but I know flow is also every important

I looked at the Vectra s2 but it’s too large for my pump chamber. And, I’ve already ordered a Nero 3, so wondering now if I should just return it and get the Mp10 or 40. But it’s for a 33gal tank

MP10 withe ecotech battery back up is a good option (even though its really overpriced for a simple battery inside).

Best of luck with your decision. I have an Ecotech battery back up and it has been useful for my outages as well. Another thing to consider though will be temperature!
