Oh boy. 8” is like 1/2 my tiny tank and the last thing I need are spiders.
You shouldn't ever have to see them (the spiders) got mine wild caught and it turns out (on more than one occasion) some sea spiders hitchhiked from Australia. Highly unlikely you'll have to deal with them

Wow! Well coincidently I was reading about them today cause I did see something on this coral through the mag glass. My blood shrimp was all over this coral earlier and I saw what looked like a tiny cockroach so I’ll be dipping this it was so small and it poked its head up for a sec and then vanished

That sounds like an amphipod. Completely harmless

And they don't move much. Their legspan is slightly smaller than 1cm
