We’ve had our strawberry conch now for about three months. The first two months he stayed above the substrate using his little snorkel to get all the food he needed. Now for the last month he buries himself and we never see him is this normal?? Here’s a picture of him before he decided to go underground

Same here. Mine is under the substrate more often than above it*. Going days or even weeks without seeing it is entirely normal.

*at least during the day, I think it sneaks out and climbs up the glass more often that I see it happening.

I’ve got a couple that somehow can also climb. I’m talking like up the side of the tank more than halfway up.. Not sure how given their weight but they are able to do it.
