With the expensiveness of this fish and the way the Anthias is described as doing better in a harem, one cannot afford to buy more then one really. So would it matter if the females were of a different species like Lyre-tail Anthias? Providing the Borb that I buy is a male......What do you guys/gals think? I have never had an Anthias before.....Gonna branch out with the new set-up.....

James, borbonius really prefer to be solitary, so I dont think you would need to buy a harem of other anthias species to accomodate it. I haven't noticed any aggression towards other anthias species or any other fish for that matter from the Borbs, only towards their own kind. Very similar to Sunburst anthias. It might be a better idea not to include more anthias so it doesn't have more fish to compete against.
