Look at the size of the frags! No vendor, and I mean no vendor but Adam cuts a Fox Flame frag of that size, none. and if they do it $250+!

Couldn't agree any more !!! Some of his frags of virtually unavailable acros put a shame to anything you can buy off other vendors . But biggest advantage - NO PESTS !! Adam's probably the only vendor from whom I get smooth skinned and deepwater acros and do not dip them as they really hate any dips .
Wish I hadn't just bought a mega pack 2 weeks back :p

Regards,
Abhishek

Why do they look so colorful? What kind of trickery is this! T-5, MH maybe?!

That my friend is called - "RADIUM 20k metal halide 250 watts run on M80 ballast " .. it's the greatest trick still in the hobby to show true to life colors of acroporas

Regards,
Abhishek

I use Red Sea pro salt and the Red Sea test kit. I tested 4 times in a 24 hour period, the last was right now and it was at 7.7. I did a water change last week, I'll test again and again over the next few days to see what happens in the next week. I don't dose or feed regularly, probably my problem being on the lower nutrient side, but also lower maintenance. Stuff grows it's just not as colorful or bright like yours.

Not yet, should I, do you?

Once you have stony coral, or coraline algae, or snails even, in the tank consuming calcium and alk, it's going to be essential to supplement on order to keep levels stable, either by way of a two part solution, or calcium reactor, If you haven't dosed at all in 6 years then its pretty safe to say your uptake is very minimal, but as hard coral grows in your system and uses it up you'll eventually need to for certain. And it's also very important to note that you will want to keep alk and calcium as close to balanced as possible. I used to refer to an old alk calculator to determine balanced levels for whatever my calcium or alk was. Was very handy.

Have you got any sps in the system at this time? and if so how long have they been in there, and have you seen any growth at all?
