The contest will be based on the increase in the number of polyps this time.
We will run this contest for 3 months; from January 1st until April 1st.
This competition was open to CTARS members only and the deadline for entry was November 23, 2014 at 8:00pm. After this date and time, no further entries were accepted.
We currently have ONE additional frag remaining from an extra sent to the club. If you would like to participate please let us know. This will be a first come, first serve basis. You MUST be a CTARS member to participate!! DEADLINE FOR THIS IS DECEMBER 28TH!!
ALSO, ANYONE WHO DID NOT PICK THEIR FRAGS UP AT THIS MONTHS MEETING, YOU HAVE UNTIL DECEMBER 28TH TO DO SO OR YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM THIS COMPETITION!
OFFICIAL RULES
1. Each participant is required to check in via a post to the specified thread with a picture that clearly shows the growth of their frag as well as a written statement as to the polyp count.
2. All photos are due between the 28th and the 2nd of every month.
3. If the participant fails to post a photo by the 2nd they are disqualified from the contest.
4. Capt (Mike), the head of this competition committee, will be keeping track of the entries, and everyone’s monthly submissions and will post the current standings each month.
5. The winner will be declared by the increase in the number of polyps (each frag will be cut to 2 polyps to keep the results clear).
6. At the end on the contest the winner will be asked to do a small write up about what they did to get the best growth.
