I've tried various searches here and Google but got no luck.

Can your plate corals touch Euphyllia?

I wouldn’t try it

i have no objective evidence, but I wouldn’t. Euphyllia can generally tolerate other Euphyllia but will burn just about everything else. While fungia tentacles look kinda like Euphyllia they are different families and I bet the fungia would get burned.

AND IM BACK!!! So, is this still the hottest plate EVER? after being out for the last 8 years, I pulled the trigger and pre-ordered the IM Nuvo 75 INT w/ White Stand. Tank will be here in mid September. Can't wait to start buying equipment and preplanning

Here's one I just picked up from a local reefer. It's going in my new 30g with black sand

My plate coral has recently grown quite long and branchy tentacles, so I decided to show them off.
I personally haven't seen anything like that before. Here is a short video and a couple photos

I’ve got one that looks identical. It gets long tentacles if I switch from moderate to low flow. Not saying that’s what does it, but I’ve seen it do it 3 times

here it is in its short tentacles form. Don’t have pics of it getting long
