Official Prayer Thread!! (Prayer Request)

May I ask for prayer for my daughter. She is 15 and experiencing great difficulties right now. We don't know what the root cause is. We think it may be bullying at school. She won't open up. She is currently in the hospital as she began cutting herself and had suicidal ideations. She came to us and told she wanted help. Please pray for her. Thank you

Thanks Brother. We just returned from the hospital. She was in good spirits tonight. Way better than our visit yesterday where she channelled her anger on us.

Wow what a day. We went to the hospital for a discharge meeting. They wanted her to go home today. We didn't feel that was safe. They brought her in and there was nothing but anger and attitude out of her mouth. As much as I love her I had taken enough. I snapped. I had a gut feeling since day 1 that there was bullying involved as the root cause so I just started hammering her with questions. Basically like a bad cop police interrogation. I got louder and louder until she broke down and confessed that it's in fact three boys bullying her. I KNEW it. Now we need to process this new info and hopefully move forward with it. Bullies MUST be stopped!! My daughter held a pill bottle in her hands contemplating suicide. She is NOT going to be another statistic death because of bullies!! I just hope she can see that she needs to stand up and fight. I hope. I pray.

First you and your family are in my prayers.
Second, you are a great man who has fought to help his daughter.

A few months ago I went through a similar ordeal with my 13 year old daughter. I took some time and a lot of fighting to make her well again.
Bullies must be stopped!!! I had to go to school and we had to have a police officer involved. But I must say the school help greatly.

Thanks everyone. She is home and yesterday she registered at a new school. Knowing that she doesn't have to go back is a huge relief for her...( and us) We are hoping that with continued counseling she will grow stronger and if this ever happens again she will have the courage to stand up. AND we are hoping that during her growth she will give up the names to the 3 boys that were bullying her. They must be held accountable or they will just continue to bully others.

Now on another note...and I know Ive asked for a lot already but prayer is soooo powerful and right now there is a lot happening in my world.... Please pray for my dad Ralph as he goes in for day surgery on Thursday. They are thinking its kidney stones so they should be able to zap them and he should be good to go.

And my dear Friend Mark who is battling stomach cancer. he finished his round of HELLISH chemo ( one of the drugs being 5-FU or as the doctors coin it...5 Feet Under as its so strong) and they were set to remove his stomach. They went in for a routine exploratory last week just before the surgery. They discovered that it had spread and the surgeon told Mark and his wife on Friday that it was inoperable and he didn't have long to live. I saw him this week and he was in strong spirits. Our Pastor and all the elders went to his home to pray over him. He is now hooked up with a naturopath who is using vitamin C ( I think) to fight off the cancer. Its apparently successful in Europe. His oncologist isn't giving up on him either.

We need all the prayer you can muster

Praying for those who have posted recently.

Myself I need prayer for a new job prospect. We have been financially strapped for awhile and a new job prospect has just presented itself from a somewhat unlikely source. It sounds like it would be a blessing in many ways for us. Prayers that it works out and works out quickly are apprecieated.

Wow, this is something I don't normally do, but it's not for me. Please pray for my Mom who has cancer. She's on the east coast of Canada and I live on the west coast of the US. I can't get to her because I had back surgery 2 weeks ago. Please pray that she remains strong, for I know she must be nervous. Her sister was diagnosed with lung cancer the first week of Jan..... she died less than 48 hours later. I'm sure that's not helping my Mom's state of mind. I'm really sensitive to fear. It breaks my heart. Go figure that I'm a NICU nurse. Just be strong Mum.

Im sad and dont know what to do we are 2 brothers and one sister im the younger brother my sister is the middle and she is very sick i got back from the hospital and cant put myself together at the hospital i had to be strong because of my mother and my sister's only son (8yo) but now that im in bed im really sad,please pray for my sister yosi she is the best sister and is really sick
