I would like to offer my Father up in prayer.
He is coming to the end of his life and has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and less than 8 months.
I am concerned over his lifelong decisions, my Mother and my brothers.

Hey guys! I'm writing to ask you to be in prayer for my mom, Lisa Bannister. They discovered a lump that has turned out to be breast cancer. She is going in today for a lumpectomy (to remove the lump) but depending on what they find, it may turn into a mastectomy. Mom has been really brave through all of this and has remained positive, but she is really scared today. The surgery will be at 1 PM today. Thanks for praying.

Funny how this thread just popped up. I'm having a difficult time. In May I lost my mom to suicide.. I had lost my father to it when I was a freshman in high school. Yesterday was her birthday and I'm so down.. I wasn't expecting to react the way I am.. We did not end on good terms (due to her being bipolar). And now I just think of how much of my life she's going to miss out on (I'm only 33).. and that I'm so angry with her and her choices. Both parents decided to end their own lives.. It sucks

I am praying for your dad and your whole family. My Mom in law just went home to be with the Lord here in February. She was in hospice care in our home for over 3 years and it can be a roller coaster ride. Christ sustained our family and I know He will yours too!

In need of a huge prayer request, I'll do a long and short post.

Long Post

My fiance and I got a call that their father was outside his shop at home (he's a welder and mechanical engineer by trade and still practices that hobby) passed out. We drove over thinking he had a bit too much to drink, but that wasn't that case. In fact he hadn't had any to drink. He was face down on the gravel pavement. My fiance used to be an EMT and barrel rolled him over. Soon after realizing that he hadn't been drinking, had a broken arm, a black eye, and wasn't responsive 911 was called. He was only responsive to pain. This happened last night at 8 pm EST. After a ct scan they found out he had a brain aneurysm, broken hip socket, broken arm, and broken ribs. He's still unresponsive and is in ICU now. He's 57 or 58, I don't remember and his name is Micheal. Wednesday they're doing surgery to repair his hip socket and arm. They're talking about brain surgery sometime after. Please pray he makes a full recovery. We're all worried, scared, and sad over here.

Short Post

My fiance's father had a brain aneurysm sometime this past weekend (found him last night). He also has a broken arm, broken hip socket, and broken ribs. He's unresponsive except to pain stimuli. He's having surgery for the hip and arm on Wednesday. Possibly brain surgery in the future. Please pray he makes a full recovery. His name is Micheal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, seriously. Please pray for his family during this time as well.

Did the breaks occur from the fall? almost sounds like foul play and the bleeding on teh brain could be part of it as well... just wondering... praying for recovery and wisdom

Well back in Ann arbor for mom to have surgery tomorrow just asking for prayers for peace n comfort and to guide drs hands n minds as they preform our lords healing graces and continue to pray for our reefing family n friends.

I need some prayers for my friend...right now she is trying to take care of her little sister, who has been suicidal, and she hasn't been getting nearly enough rest to keep it up. They both also need Christ...

and I need strength and help for the apartment move we're going to be making mid-July. I'm n0t sure my body can take it. Then somehow I have to get my aquarium moved from my Dad's house and I'm terrified I'm going to break it or something. I keep having nightmares about it. Between everything that's going on and already being in pain from fibromyalgia, and being upset because I can't help my friend out in this case, I'm having crying fits, and feeling anxious and depressed...I don't even feel like eating most of the day lately. I'm excited about having the tank with me so I can care for it properly, and that helps, but agggh. I'll be okay eventually but right now, I'm really not.

One step at the time, trying to move both feed at the same time will result in a tumble.

Sending prayers for you and the wife for calming and understanding and control over this obsession we call our hobby Mr.Reeferman. Also think it's awesome to add prayer request to our churches for additional prayers. Also prayers sent for everyone here for comfort n support for their battles they face and strength to carry on and for smooth moves with new home with tanks being moved. We are healed comforted supported by our Lord and savior thru our weak and trouble times we pray for all these requests to be heard and answered.
