I have played only mw on xbox and ps3 and the competition on xbox is levels above on xbox. I am a mediocre player on xbox but I dominated several matches on ps3. You can keep your free network.....:tongue: That won't be free too much longer if rumors are correct. I heard they are waiting till they get to a certain subscriber number and then will charge...dunno

I've heard those rumors since PS3 was released and I paid $600 for the system..lol.. they're probably just rumors that some xbox fan made up ;)

Did you dominate matches against random people in public games, or did you dominate on competitive level games (gamebattles)? Major difference!

I'm not interested in how people play in public games in general...just curious how the competitive players in the tournys would match up.

On the surface, I see a lot of Xbox teams rack up some impressive win/loss ratios.... for PS3 I see a lot of good teams with decent amounts of losses...that would make me believe that competition is better on ps3...but who knows! Let's argue about it! :) :) :)

Nah, not gonna argue...:bigsmile: Just stating my experience. Some were game battles and some public. Doesn't matter, I won't be buying a PS3 anytime soon.

Friday morning I'll be driving back from Chicago in my wife's Christmas present. I use the Turtle Beach x41's I believe they are called. Can't game without them once you get used to em.

Can't get on Friday morning, wife is off and gonna spend time with the family. My wife got me a set of turtle beaches for Christmas last year, they made a bigger difference in mw2, (some times hard to tell where the sounds are coming from in black ops) but definitely are worth the money. They make every game better. I have the wireless ones.

I do agree with that. It's much harder to hear people on BO than MW2. The sound sucks balls on this game. Well MW2 is better in almost every way.

Yeah, when the 60gb first came out they were like $600. I didn't even get a game with mine...now my $600 machine is over there by my TV and is broken and sad...I honestly haven't even got a blu-ray movie to watch on the thing...I'm strictly a gamer :)

I guess it'll always be a mystery....which players are better...xbox or ps3 gamers.... I just know that I would pwn on any system ;)

Yeah mw2 is better in almost every way, except all of the hackers/modders. Can't get in a lobby without a cheater, but the mods are starting to pop up already for black ops.

That's what drives me crazy about these games! The last couple months that I played Modern Warfare 1 there were some weird hacks going on where people were flying through roofs and stuff...was nuts... made the game totally not fun to play....not to even mention the guys on the leaderboards with 10000000000+ kills and 3 days played..

then MW2 comes out and people instantly hack it and all get 10th level prestiege...meanwhile, I do it the legit way figuring that all of the hackers will get banned.........wrong

I loved borderlands but people have shotguns that do 99999999 damage and it just makes the game lame for legit players like myself who refuse to hack or play with hacked gear...

I'd probably still be playing Diablo 2 if it wasn't for the hacks...I have a hard time believing that they can't do more to stop hacking.

Well I have to say it depends on my level on concentration and enthusiam in the match I am playing as to wether or not I pown people or not. I will say this though...... I can pown anyone anytime anywhere on MW2!! :matrix: just as long as it not a quickscope match, I hate that crap!

I agree though...quick scope is lame....can't stand people who try that...totally not my thing... Get a PS3...we'll have an official R2R MW2 deathmatch.

It is cheaper for you buy an xbox, and then you can play all of us speg! as far as you powning me........ hmmmm...... not a whole lot of people can claim that title, but maybe you can! Get a xbox and I will host a private match with the full 18! all of us can play then!

i played GB when I was in a clan in the original MW, got up to number 27 or 29 in the world!! Sadly the clan is no more and I no longer do GB...... maybe I will start again....

I just bought the 4th xbox with the new kinect ..how come they didn't add the blu ray to this machine it would have been awesome ..what games will work with the kinect?

Only kinect games work with it, they have the purple box.
As for blue ray no way they will put that into the xbox, they are pushing the zune market placd hd movie downloads and adding a blue ray would be like cutting their own throats. They may make an add on device one day but that's about it

Honestly I think Blue Ray will go the route of Laser discs. Dunno, I can't even remember the last time I rented or purchased a DVD. Everything worth keeping I have as a digital file. I just use On Demand for the rental. They are smart not to jump on that wagon.

I've had a Blueray player for about a year and have watched only one Bluray disk in it. I use it mostly for Netflix and Amazon On Demand streaming. Once I get a TV with these built-in, I won't have any need for it!
