Ok, here's another update. I'm having issues with my Apex. I've been able to fix one of them through email with Neptune Aquatics (One of my EB8s wasn't working). The only issue I have now is with the display, it's not on the list of modules and it's stuck on a blank blue screen. I might have to send it in for repair.

I finally got power heads for flow! I put 2 MP60s on this build. It's WAY overkill on this build but I like that when I put them on full blast they pick up ALL the detritus. I won't run them too long on full power because I'm sure it puts a lot of stress on the seams but I like that I'll be running them under 50% (50% is still a lot of flow ) so less wear and tear and no noise from them at all.

As for the tank it self I got an algae bloom when I transferred all the fish over all at once ( I'm sure having no power heads added to it too) so I started dosing the way I did for days 4-14 during the zeovit 14 day cycle and the algae problem is almost gone.

As far as the live stock, the Achilles is now eating everything I feed (frozen, flakes, nori, and pellets) and is getting along fine with the purple tang. My inferno gave me an awesome Christmas present and split on Christmas Day and so far both clones are looking good but every now and then they deflate completely. All corals are looking good and I'm getting better colors in this tank than I was in the 45g.

Ok haven't updated in a while. Truth be told I've neglected the tank and I haven't been dosing or shaking the zeo reactor. Now that the wedding is over I can spend more time on the tank. I changed up the lighting because I sold one of my 3 Hydras. For a while I was only running 2 Hydras on a 5 foot tank. I tried looking for another non HD Hydra 52 but I couldn't find one. I was thinking about switching over to some G4s but I wanted something that was going to have a ton of shimmer. I love the shimmer of the Kessil 360WE but I wanted something with full spectrum lighting. I started looking at the AP700 but I wasn't thrilled because I had a 360WE that blew out on me. After reading the info on Kessil's website I wanted to try it and see if it really does what Kessil claims (in reguards to sps growth and coloration). My WD colony's lost a lot of color due to me neglecting the tank so not that I pulled the trigger on an AP700 I'm going to see how they color back up. I also put my inferno clones under the light to see what happens with them. I tried to blend the AP700 to the Hydras but it was impossible. I decided to turn off the Hydras and find a color spectrum on the AP700 that I liked. Once I did that it was easy to blend the Hydras in to it. Here are some pictures.
