So you shipped someone the skimmer, and your ring accidently went along for the ride. The picture is from the buyer after he found the ring. I suspect you removed the ring to clean the skimmer before shipping it. Somehow it ended up in the box. The pic is the buyer giving you the good news that he found your ring! He took the picture on top of skimmer to show you that you sent the ring inside the skimmer!

Alan purchased the skimmer from you, while you were packing the skimmer your ring fell in to the skimmer you tape the lid with out noticing about your ring. after you shipped the skimmer you probably were looking for your ring. then your frien Alan send you a pic of the ring with the skimmer asking you if the ring was yours. then he send the back to you.
